Sunday Post #31 – ups and downs + Happy Mothersday!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This way, I can tell you a little about my week and sum up what happened on the blog and everything else that I find interesting.

This week on the blog

Next week on the blog

  • Review: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
  • April book stats

Only one person so far has entered my Instagram giveaway, which I find a little sad, because I would love to share my love for these Dutch authors with more people.

Since last Sunday there’s been a lot of ups and downs. Well, ok… Just one really. I called back the Clinic that I had an interview with and was told that since my Masters wasn’t equivalent to the German Klinische Psychologie, they couldn’t hire me (that was me down). However, at the end of that same day, I got an email from a forensic clinic, asking me if I could come in next Wednesday. As I studied forensic psychology, this would be an amazing job for me to have. So if everyone could keep their fingers crossed for me, that would be great!

For the first time in a really long time, I went to the library yesterday. I wanted to check if our library had enough diversity in books (and mostly audioBooks) that it would be worth signing up for. It doesn’t have an amazing collection, but it’s fairly good. Unfortunately, since we didn’t have any proof with us that we actually lived in the city, we couldn’t sign up yesterday. However, next week we’ll do that.

How was your week? Let me know in the comments below! And don’t forget about my giveaway! You might never have heard of those books before, but they really are amazing!

Happy reading!

  1. Good luck with your interview, hope you get it! It’s always nice when a setback gets offset by an opportunity. And good luck with your Instagram giveaway- I have no idea how that works lol or I’d enter. I think it’s nice you’re highlighting Dutch authors.

    1. Thank you!
If you have an instagram account, entering is fairly easy: follow me, find the right picture to comment on, then tell me which book you’d want (if you can figure it out), recommend me a book and tag three friends in the comments. There’s still time, if you want to enter 😉

  2. That sucks about the job, and a stupid reason because they should have known that before they interviewed you. But thumbs up for the new interview!
I didn’t enter your giveaway because we already have a copy of two of them and figured others should have the chance 😉
